As you can see, the car is in exceptional original and most importantly, totally rust-free condition throughout. The chassis, sills, wheel-arches, etc. are pristine and all the original factory spot-welds are nice and clean and visible. The car has never had any welding work carried out. The car is a special edition S-Spec model which was imported from Japan in 2006 and has been dry-stored by the previous owner since 2015. We have just completed re-commissioning the car after its 6 year lay-up, including replacing the timing belt and water pump, full service including new timing belt and water pump, all new brake calipers, brake discs, suspension components, bushes, etc. The car retains all the correct S-Spec extras, including: Mazdaspeed adjustable engine-bay strut brace, lightened flywheel, Torsen limited-slip differential, Bilstein shock-absorbers, BBS alloys, stainless sill kick-plates, rear spoiler. The Classic Red paintwork is flawless. The previous owner fitted a Mohair hood with heated glass rear window, which whilst not original, is a definite improvement over the plastic one.

As you would expect, the car drives beautifully, feeling nice and tight and precise through corners.
